When a soul of the dead is unable to ascend to Heaven, they arrive at a spiritual realm between life and nirvana, where they will be lead to Heaven's gate by the guides. The main character is a young guide tasked to lead the ghost of a father who succumbed to a strange illness. Despite breaking divine laws, the guide and the spirit embark on a secret journey to return him to life for his now orphaned daughter.
